BROKEN OR RUSTED TRUCK MUFFLER & EXHAUST REPAIRS:
If there is a rust hole in a pipe we can cut out that section of exhaust pipe and replace it with a short replacement. A hole appears in an exhaust part due to corrosion and the pipe thinning until there is no steel left. The whole section of pipe (or muffler) will likely be the same age so although other parts have not rusted through they will likely fail in the near future.
It is usually advisable and cheaper in the long run to replace the full section of exhaust.
If the exhaust pipe or muffler has broken through stress, then we can usually repair this type of break successfully.
BROKEN OR DAMAGED FLEXIBLE SECTION OF EXHAUST PIPE:
A flex (stainless bellows) or flexible section of exhaust is fitted to truck (lorry) exhausts to relieve the stresses in the lorry exhaust. We carry these parts in stock ready for replacement.
