Geddes Automotive Auckland stock steel exhaust tube and aluminiumised steel tubing for longer exhaust life.

TUBING EXHAUST SIZE

We stock exhaust tube in 5.5 metre lengths.

Exhaust sizes range from 22.5mm up to 152mm thick.

We stock both mild steel and aluminiumised tube. Aluminiumised sizes range from 38mm to 76mm. We cut the tube to the length you require for a small fee.

Exhaust tube is measured on the outside diameter but then the wall thickness varies in thickness. Tubing exhaust wall thickness of 1.2mm is considered thin but will slip into the next size tube with a 1.2mm wall thickness.

For example 38mm (1.5") will slip inside 41.3mm (1 5/8") but if you choose the heavier wall tube 1.6mm or 2mm they will not slip inside each other. 38mm with 1.6mm wall will go inside 44mm either 1.6mm or 2mm wall thickness but will be a loose fit.

Geddes Automotive can swage the 41.3 (& other sizes) with 1.6 or 2mm wall so that it will be a slip on fit but we can only swage an area up to approximately 100mm long. We stock flanges, gaskets, bolts & nuts and exhaust clamps for exhaust tube junctions.
