Geddes Automotive Auckland provide free courtesy cars or courtesy van while your car, van or truck is serviced or repaired.

SERVICES GEDDES PROVIDES COURTESY CARS & COURTESY VAN FOR:

A free courtesy car can be provided if booked for all mechanical or auto electrical repairs.

INSURANCE COURTESY CAR

If you have breakdown insurance, your car has broken down and you need an insurance courtesy car, most insurance companies will pay us to collect your car or van. A Geddes car insurance courtesy car excess starts at $350 if you are over 25 years. You do not need a breakdown cover with courtesy car cover provided, if your breakdown cover does not cover you for a courtesy car we provide those free. Give us a call with your policy details and we will make the arrangements for you.

CONDITIONS TO BE PROVIDED A FREE COURTESY CAR: (Loan Car)

1		If the customer/owner (you) are over 25 years and Geddes Automotive (636 7064) management approve of lending the vehicle to you, (Geddes do provide courtesy cars to under 25yrs but at Geddes' sole discretion and you may be required to pay a deposit);
2		The work agreed to:
	2a	Is in excess of $250.00 + GST; and
	2b	Will take more than 1.5 hours for Geddes to complete; and
	2c	Geddes cannot do the repair at the time you can drop off the vehicle; and
	2d	You leave your vehicle so that Geddes can repair your vehicle ; and
	2e	You provide suitable proof of your home address; and
	2f	You sign the vehicle loan agreement form which includes a statement that you will be the only driver of the courtesy vehicle;

	2g	You replace the fuel used.
3		Your drivers licence is current and you show it to Geddes Automotive Ltd at the time of being loaned the courtesy car.
4		Free Courtesy cars require pre — booking. To book you may be required to pay a deposit of $25.00; that $25.00 will be credited towards your vehicles repair.

CONDITIONS FOR $25 PER DAY COURTESY CAR

IF THE WORK AGREED TO ON YOUR VEHICLE IS LESS THAN $250 + GST:

1		If the customer/owner (you) are over 25 years and Geddes Automotive (636 7064) management approve of lending the vehicle to you;
2		The work agreed to:
	2a	Is less than $250.00 + GST and Geddes management agree to provide the $25/day courtesy car; and
	2b	Will take more than 1.5 hours for Geddes to complete; and
	2c	Geddes cannot do the repair at the time you can drop off the vehicle; and
	2d	You leave your vehicle so that Geddes can repair your vehicle during the next 48 hours; and
	2e	You provide suitable proof of your home address; and
	2f	You sign the courtesy car agreement form which includes a statement that you will be the only driver of the courtesy vehicle; and
	2g	You replace the fuel used. and
3		Your drivers licence is current and you show it to Geddes Automotive Ltd at the time of being loaned the $25/day courtesy car.
4		Courtesy cars require pre — booking. For repair work costing less than $250 + GST; cost $25.00 per day. To book you may be required to pay a deposit of $25.00.

CONDITIONS TO BE PROVIDED A COURTESY VAN:(Loan Van)

1		If the customer/owner (you) are over 25 years and Geddes Automotive (636 7064) management approve of lending the vehicle to you. You may be required to pay a deposit;
2		The work agreed to:
	2a	Is in excess of $250.00 + GST; and
	2b	Will take more than 1.5 hours for Geddes to complete; And
	2c	Geddes cannot do the repair at the time you can drop off the vehicle; and
	2d	You leave your vehicle so that Geddes can repair your vehicle during the next 48 hours; and
	2e	You provide suitable proof of your home & business address; And
	2f	You sign the vehicle loan agreement form which includes a statement that you will be the only driver of the van;
	2g	You replace the fuel used, check the water & oil daily and top up if required to comply with manufacturers requirements.
3		Your drivers licence is current and you show it to Geddes Automotive Ltd at the time of being loaned the courtesy van.
4		Courtesy vans require pre — booking. To book you will be required to pay a deposit of $150.00; that $150.00 will be credited towards your total account.
5		A daily and/or kilometre rate will be negotiated with you for the use of the van.
